Gente decente

Porque nem tudo é mau na Comissão, porque há pessoas decentes e simpáticas, aqui fica esta mensagem de Marta Cygan, que é chefe de gabinete adjunta da comissária responsável pela Política Regional, a senhora Hübner, e com quem frequentemente trabalho. Será necessário acrescentar que as suas palavras me deram enorme conforto num ano difícil? e que é para isso, para nos tratarmos bem, que estamos aqui - ou que devíamos estar aqui? Obrigado Marta.

Dear Jose Pedro,
Thank you very much for your e-mail and for your nice words. I am not sure if I manage to be polite enough in this difficult environment. At least I try and I have good intentions.
Your contribution is extremely important to me and it helped me a lot in difficult moments. I am sorry for all your difficult experiences last year and I hope there is a moment in life when things have to be only better and better. This certainly does not remedy certains losses but it can make a good starting point for the rest of your life adventure.
I wish you a calm Christmas and a New Year of Hope.
